It’s no coincidence that the names of some of the most beloved seasonal drinks, also are natures decoration. Hibiscus, rose, and lavender are my personal favorite buzzwords when I’m in a coffee shop. From lattes, to iced teas, these floral drinks are the perfect addition to any day worth enjoying.
Nurseries and gardening are a staple in my childhood. I was dragged around them, but with time I grew to appreciate and even enjoy the endless possibilities of floral arrangements. Thanks, Mom! I recommend a few things:
- Walk around a local nursery, find or solidify your favorite flower(s)
- Try a flower-infused drink and try and taste the fresh earthiness
- Sit in a Rose Garden
- Explore a local greenhouse
- Grow sunflowers from seedlings
- Read up on the wellness, beauty, and medicinal qualities of herbs and flowers
- Buy someone you love, an assorted arrangement of summer flowers
